Party, Beach and Roller Blading

Last weekend was very full. Friday night, we went to a going away party at a restaurant for a couple of guys I work with who are leaving who had been there for a while.

Everyone got to leave work at around 2:30 to go to a nearby restaurant for drinks and appetizers.

I went home, got changed and then Mike and I met them at another restaurant for dinner.

One is moving to Ireland and the other is going into the family business.

We had a nice dinner and headed home early.
Saturday, I went to Kits beach with the girls. We had a great time chatting, snacking and people watching.

When I got home, Mike and I decided to try out our new roller blades. I got them for $47 a pair at Costco and they are AirWalk which is a pretty good brand. We skated around Stanley Park and the seawall.

When we had had enough we stopped at a stand along the beach and got hamburgers and cokes.

Mmm, mmm. That night I had been debating going out with the same girls I went to the beach with, but I had had enough for the weekend.

Mike and I got a quick bite to eat and watched a movie.

Sunday was another gorgeous day.

We got up and went for a long walk along the seawall with the dogs.

Then we stopped at Quiznos and brought our sandwiches to the green by the water and had a little picnic on a big beach towel I brought.

Everyone was out and sunbathing.

What a beautiful weekend!
