This will be a sans photo update as I've yet to replace my camera.
I know which one I want, now it's just a matter of going to get it.
I'll make sure I have one before our trip to San Fran which is coming up soon.
So we haven't been to all that much.
I had a friend's birthday party to go to last weekend that was fun and Mike went to see Bill Maher with Chris as the Red Robinson theatre in Burnaby. He really enjoyed that. If it had of been Jon Stewart or Stephen Colbert, I would have gone. Not a huge fan of Bill Maher.
Tonight we are going out for dinner and drinks with another couple and it is a bright sunshiny day here. Last week I had a business dinner at a nice restaurant with one of our US clients. It went very well and we are doing quite well. We are very busy, but you won't see anyone complain as there are layoffs going on in other sectors and companies. Mike's place is also doing really well. I understand though from a couple of people back East that the provincial government is making some cuts as a result of the slow down.
Not much else going on for us. I need to get out and enjoy the sunshine now while it lasts. It has admittedly been very wet for almost a week.
The dogs are well and healthy and everyone in my building tells me how great the dog walker we have is. A couple have even taken her card do some walking for them, which is probably really handy for her. They better not poach her is all I can say!
We are looking forward to going to San Fran and posting some nice pics of that beautiful city.
We got a great deal on our hotel. I heard of the Hotwire site from a friend where basically in this site, you type in the area and stars that you want to stay at and search and it then gives you a price range and you make a selection without knowing the hotel's name. We are staying at the Palace Hotel in the Union Square area. I can't wait!
I have a friend who knows all about the best places to go too and she is going to hook me up with all the information I need. It's going to be great.
Well that's about it. Hopefully next post I'll have some pictures to show.
